Water Lilly Pond

I walked by a water Lilly pond and thought "How pretty that is" so I looked closer and out peeped a big Gold Koi fish from under the flower! Oh! I was surprised and thought "That looked neat, I wish I had a picture! I will have to take a memory picture with my eyes" So first I sketched it out, then I painted it on a hat. Well I had given myself some advice of "Leave some hats without Kauai on them" but I argued and thought I will sell these on Kauai, well wouldn't you know it I do have to do some plain ones for a store on Oahu, so Yay! I will do a couple more, that is OK;)

Elenin, Ocean and Clouds

I guess I have been lazy in this physical world but I have been doing the meditations to help the earth and humanity, this time meeting the comet Elenin with childrenofhesun.org

I seem to paint the ocean though, I have been working on a small painting that turned out to be just ocean and sky, I was thinking rather that paint what I see to see what I paint, well it turned out to be where I had been surfing the past week everyday. Thus just ocean and sky, but I did understand finally with my cloud observations the simplicity of fractals which I wasn't quite getting until actually seeing it in the clouds. Now I have to observe a tree more closely! I intend to do a larger painting of just ocean and clouds, this one was a warm up.

Meditations

I have been learning Light body from Marissa theplantspirits.blogspot.com and now have gotten to the first of the other three light body centers. Which mean I "run the energies" and meditate. During this time span I also have discovered  childrenofthesun.org Which has many meditations that as a Light worker I can do to help Humanity and Mother Earth and all Universes. I am discovering that of course what I do and have done all my life is paint, so while in meditation I have decided to paint. As part of the work to help Humanity, Mother Earth, and all Universes we want to get to the truth and have it be known. I hope I can help by painting and bringing some visuals to our world on Earth, here and now! OK this one came out a bit weird, but whatever! The "truth" can be subjective and even a complete fantasy!

The Kauai Chicken Story

I have been trying to clean out my stuff, but instead I keep finding treasures! Here is a poem I wrote in 2003 in response to the common question I kept receiving at Banana Joe's, "Where did all these chickens  on Kauai come from?"

                                               The Kauai Chicken Story

In the beginning, on the first day
The rooster had sex with the hen
And the rooster crowed and
The hen bru braacked!
And GOD said, "THAT WAS GOOD!"

Then on the third day
The rooster crowed and
The hen bru bru braaacked and
Behold! Seven eggs were laid
And GOD said, "UH, OH!"

So on the seventh day
When any sane GOD should be resting
The rooster crowed and
The hen bru bru bru braaacked and
Behold! The seven eggs hatched!
And GOD said, "AREN'T THEY CUTE!"

Then GOD said,
"LET US DECLARE CHICKENS AN
ENDANGERED SPECIES ON KAUAI AND
LET US OUTLAW MONGOOSE ON KAUAI AND
LET US DECLARE A LEASH LAW FOR DOGS ON KAUAI."
And the rooster crowed, and the hen bru bru braacked and
The baby chicks peep peep peep peep peep peep peep peeped and
Then GOD added, "LET US FORCE ALL HUMANS TO ONLY EAT
TOFU CHICKEN"

And the rooster crowed and
The hen bru bru bru bru braaacked
And the baby chicks grew up.
Then the baby rooster had sex with the baby hen
And the baby rooster crowed and
The baby hen bru braacked!
And GOD said, "AH, THAT WAS GOOD!" Again and
               Again............and
                         Again.............and
                                                                    Again..............and
                                                                          Again.

So that is my answer to that question! Hehe!

JustLupita artwork getting started!

I have neglected this blog far too long! I have since retired from Banana Joe's, just two weeks ago, thus enabling me to concentrate on my art work and providing more product such as my hand painted shirts and hats for Banana Joe's. That is just a fraction of the art work I intend to produce, so perhaps I will blog about what I do produce each week. Sooooo, the first week I caught up on Banana Joe shirts, and this second week I have been painting baby surfer rompers and T-shirts for Kokonut Kids in Hanalei. Oh yes, I also did hats for I (heart) Hanalei, a bikini and dress store. I have started a new web page to show case the work I have done, JustLupita.BackdoorKauai.com.
